To the wonderful people at Ridge Park goes our heartfelt thanks for the care, compassion, dignity and love you gave to our mother.

Your support both to Mum and us, particularly in these last difficult weeks helped us all through this sad time. 

 It is not easy having to find care for an elderly member of your family.

The new facility ‘Falling Waters’ was a good start for us with beautiful rooms and resources available.

But the best part was the wonderful people working there at all levels, people who really cared and were not just ‘doing their job’.

During the last few weeks of Uncle Tom’s life the gentle care he received was unfailing and will never be forgotten.

 A special thanks to Julie & Carol who were so supportive.

 We found ourselves in a very stressful and worrying time when Dad required emergency respite care.

All through Dad’s time of adjusting to being placed in care nothing was too much trouble when we expressed our concerns.

The carers and staff of the High Care Unit were always willing to assist us when thing became difficult and we were very grateful.

 As with any form of care giving, I am aware that a lot of the requirements are to satisfy and gain the confidence in the resident and the family that their need are being met.

 Our first tour of The Viceroy promised a high level of care and friendliness and 3 weeks after admission, I’m happy to say The Viceroy has lived up to all it promised.  Unfortunately personal circumstances are a challenge for my mum, but I’m really confident in how it is being managed.

After much treatment in a private hospital, and an ACAT assessment Ken then resided at Burnleigh Private Residential Care.  The kindness and skills of the caring staff who were confronted with a fiercely independent, terminally ill man who had lost his physical independence – they managed each behaviour and situation with respect.  It was a comfort knowing how amazingly the competent staff managed Ken’s wellbeing throughout his stay.

 Dear Ros and all the wonderful staff of The Bentleigh,

 Words cannot express how indebted I am to you all, for the love, compassion, respect and dignity in the care you provided to my dear mother Helen.  I will always remember you and hope that you think of my mum when you use this gift.  I think you are all fantastic people.

 Just want to convey a sincere ‘thank you’ to all the wonderful staff at Sandringham Private Residential Care at Craigmore.  My mother Esther entered initially as a ‘respite resident’ and then as a permanent ‘low care’ resident.  Her status changed to ‘high care’ and it was only due to demographics and a change of employment that I moved her to another facility.  The extreme high level of care and compassion from the staff shown not only to her but our family was greatly appreciated.  The administration team of Jean and Bev was outstanding, with never a question unanswered.  Keep up the great work as your efforts are truly valued.

To Viv and Florence Padman,

 My mother Neva was a resident at Burnleigh Private Residential Care, Parkside for some years until her death.  The purpose of this communication is to notify you of my observations and assessment of Burnleigh staff members during weekly attendances over a period of more than three years.

 The staff were completely competent when administering care to the residents and the attention to detail was very evident and to a very high level.  I was most impressed with their people skills and happy attitudes.

Other relatives who attended Burnleigh, plus visitors to other patients with whom I became acquainted, were impressed with the staff and as a result rated Burnleigh very highly.

Special tributes must be made to: Marcel, Alison, Davina, Anthea, Lisa, Sheree, Kathy and Shiela.  Their public relations expertise is exemplary and the assistance given is far in excess of normal expectations.  These people are extremely valuable representations of the Padman facility.

After the passing of my mother, a number of staff made individual phone contact and expressed sympathetic condolences which were greatly appreciated.

Because of the Burnleigh staff expertise and visible performance, I have no hesitation in recommending Burnleigh at Parkside.

Dear Mr & Mrs Padman,

Just a quick note to thank you for the great work you are doing in your wonderful Nursing Homes.

 I go to ‘Kirribilli’ often and visit a dear ex fighter pilot friend – 87 years old now.  I have been to see him often and it is a joy to see him slowly improving, yesterday he laughed and a lovely young man, a physiotherapist came to get him to walk down the passage.

He has improved so much, it is wonderful.

The staff are delightful.  This dear man has teamed up with 3 other 80 year olds for meal times.  It is wonderful what you are doing for people in their final years.  It is a joy to go into Kirribilli and Kiama.
